Units from both stations in Oxon Hill, Chief 21 and Chief 42A, responded to a home in 21’s box alarm overnight. Engine 821 arrived on scene with smoke showing, made quick entry and a knock of the fire. The fire started in the kitchen due to unattended cooking, both occupants evacuated safely. Residents were displaced, no injuries to anyone.

On 8/22/15, units were alerted to a 29 box alarm (Silver Hill VFD) this past Saturday, quickly arriving to find fire showing from Side Bravo and Charlie. Chief 29 quickly called for the second alarm as the fire progressed to the adjacent homes. The fire ended up damaging four homes in total. Company 21 responded with the truck on initial alarm and Company 42 on the second alarm. One firefighter was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore after being struck in the head by a falling chimney, he would be discharged later that evening.
On Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2113hrs, both stations from Oxon Hill were alerted to respond to Indian Head Hwy northbound for one reported trapped in a MVA. E821 arrived on the scene with one over turned, E842B and A842 arrived to assist and provide medical needs. One was transported to an area hospital, the driver of the overturned vehicle was placed in police custody.
